Last Dance of the Duffiokus !

Been a while since I've painted anything, more than 2.5 years I think :( so here goes, a bit bish bosh in places but enjoyed it nonetheless.
This is Fenris Games Duffiokus sculpted by Kev White and based on a fellow painter (Duff) set against some nastiness from Otherworld miniatures and sculpted by the talented Paul Muller I think.

  1. Wow. How great to see something new from you. 2.5 years is a long time. How long did it take you to paint this?

    1. Hi Ed
Not too long for me really, done behind the scenes during a month whilst sculpting and I got faster with each figure, my biggest problem is I enjoy experimenting and cocking it up which usually means projects take longer than they should, plus dropping it twice and smashing the wings both times......butter fingers! :)

  3. Superb work, Steve!
Do you mind if we use a couple of these photos on our Facebook site, please? If it's OK with you, how do you want me to credit them?

  5. Fantastic- and featuring a signature classical column.
    Lovely deep shading and contrast.
I think I like the Harpy best.

  6. This is a fantastic diorama - I love the muted colours and the way in which you have tied everything together.
