Well, with the limited time I have had over the past month or so I have been doing a bit more sculpting, something small, hopefully something to show soon....ish. On the painting front I have managed to knock up this quickie, one of my favourite Old timer Citadel Wizards, small little figure standing no higher than a dwarf.
Old Wizard looks fantastic, looking forward to seeing what you have been sculpting too.

ReplyDeleteGreat miniature, very funny. And very good paintjob, specially considering the minimum size.
ReplyDeleteRegards.
Thanks Mabden, yes you do not get a sense of quite how small he is in these photo's!
ReplyDeleteNice painting again! These old Citadel Miniatures really knew how to tell the story. Keep up the momentum!
ReplyDeleteThanks IzeColt, I agree, but so many figures and so little time ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat soft looking fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLike the background gradient too- suits the piece.
Am on old(ish) school painter of sorts meself: I remember seeing your work in WD first time around.
What prompted you to come out of retirement?
Well, I never really stopped buying the stuff :) so thought I had better do something with the lead mountain, also sometimes I think you need a break to be able to come back with a re invigorated approach, its just that I did not plan the break to be so long!!! Plus I am too young to retire!!
ReplyDeleteIve just dragged this out the forum archives tonight, awesome job on this wee beauty Steve,
