Started this project over Christmas and have been progressing it between sculpting. The original idea was inspired by the acquisition of some of White Knight’s lovely renaissance goblins (http://whiteknightminiatureimperium.blogspot.com) and thinking it would be good to have some ogres to go with them, this got me digging out some of Kev Adams original Foundry large mercenary orcs, the idea being to orge-fy with a bit of conversion…..it all got a bit out of hand and I ended up sculpting a mount for it as well. Painted with the usual mix of oils and acrylics.

DeleteI only came across this today. What an incredible piece! At a first glance I thought the ox had been photoshopped from a real picture. It's that realistic!! The conversion is amazing too! Is there is tutorial of how you made this conversion?

Thanks Joao for your comments, glad you like, unfortunately I do not have a tutorial on this piece, but a good idea for some future pieces
